Matthew Jackson BSc MBCS – Forensic Director

Matthew is Head of the Forensics Department and a specialist in recovering data from a variety of electronic Media. He studied Forensic Computing at Cranfield University and the Royal Military College of Science. Matthew later joined Thames Valley Police’s High-Tech Crime Unit, where he was responsible for processing nearly 300 legal cases involving Fraud (HM Customs and Excise), Drugs (The National Criminal Intelligence Service) and Murder inquiries (The National Crime Squad).

Matthew heads up a team of 9 technicians based at our Headquarters in Bridgend.

Nesta Cabigting BSc – Data Recovery Technician

Nestor joined Fields after completing his degree in Computing Technologies in the Philippines. He specialises in the recovery of data from solid state technologies including flash drives and camera media.

Nestor heads a small team of two engineers and operates from our base in Bridgend.

David Lee BSc – Data Recovery Technician

David is the latest engineer to join our team and has recently completed his degree in Information Technology Systems. David is specialising in recovering data from Embedded Micro Computer Systems.

Michael Earl – Data Recovery Manager

Michael studied for his BSc degree in Computing and Informatics at the University of Plymouth between 1998 and 2002. Since joining Fields he has worked on some of our most prestigious projects, including heading up the EA Games, HP and Jaguar data recovery projects.

Michael runs a small team of 4 data recovery engineers and is responsible for ensuring the fast and accurate turnaround of customer’s jobs.

Johnathan Stabler BSc (Hons) (University of Wales) – Software Engineer

John joined the company after gaining a 1st class BSc degree in Software Engineering. He is responsible for developing and maintaining Fields’ cutting-edge bespoke software solutions, including custom data recovery tools and systems services.

Alyn Jones – Data Recovery Manager

Alyn has been with Fields from its earliest days. Since being with the company, he has been responsible for heading up our largest data recovery projects involving the reconstruction of damaged RAID containers and mission critical corporate servers.

Alyn is responsible for pioneering several data recovery techniques that are currently employed in almost 10% of the company’s recovery procedures.

Nishad Gopinatch MCP CCNA DCP DON BOSCO (University of Kerala, India) – Data Recovery Engineer

Nishad’s background is in Data Cleansing and Data Integrity. He has worked for Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust, Holy Family Hospital, Dharamshila Cancer Hospital & Research Centre and Metro Hospitals and & Heart Institute.

Nishad currently heads up a small department specialising in data erasure.
