Golf Club
In May 2004 a large golf club in the Midlands lost their entire membership database, fee renewal, pro shop transactions, SAGE accounts and green-keeping maintenance schedules from their clubhouse PC. The fault was due to a burnt-out processor, which necessitated a temporary physical recovery before an extensive deep level logical and re-programming of the drive’s firmware. The full recovery was completed and the data returned to the club within four working days.
